SKylight the charitable arm of Stockport Homes Group (SHG) is committed to transforming the lives of its customers and communities. SKylight aims to empower communities by providing face-to-face Employment information, advice and guidance.

Its bespoke service has been shortlisted in the Resident Employment and Training Award category at the UK Housing Awards.

The employment service focuses on the people at the heart of communities. Recognising that customers lead increasingly complex lives with unique needs, the primary goal is to sustain tenancies and enhance wellbeing. It aims to empower residents by equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to achieve self-sufficiency and thrive.

The awards will be announced on 26 November 2024 at The Point in Manchester.
